E-books & Guides
Our e-books and guides are what a food tour looks like when it has to fit in your pocket. Region by region, meal by meal, producer by producer: where to eat, what to order, why it exists, and what to say when you get there. Written by the people who run the tours. Delivered the second you buy.

Food & Flavours
Portuguese food products with an address. Two to begin with: black garlic, cured low and slow until it turns sweet and black, and Alentejo table olives — azeitona britada, which is exactly what the word says: the olive is cracked open before it goes into the brine. The olives come from our own grove in the Alentejo.

Oh! My Cod Goods
Aprons, t-shirts, tote bags, pins and a tea towel, all carrying the hybrid creatures of the house. The rooster-fish presides over this category — half rooster, half cod, entirely committed to the bit. The creatures are not decoration: the tours have been hybrids of food and fieldwork since 2016, and the logo has always matched.

This is not a gift shop.
This is not a pantry.
This is the part of the tour you get to keep.
Everything here does four things: it lets you discover a producer you had no way of meeting, taste something that only makes sense where it is made, know why it tastes like that, and take a piece of it home. Context, origin and stories are not the packaging around the product. They are the product.
We choose the same way we build a tour. Authenticity: we can name who made it. Territory: it comes from somewhere specific, and we say where. Culture and gastronomy: it carries a practice, not just a flavour. Local knowledge: someone taught us this, and we credit them. Five filters. Nothing gets in on packaging alone.

“Oh! My Cod works with gastronomy … as a medium to narrate several voices, cultures, generations and different perspectives, through immersive experiences and human encounters.”
“After all, we were all strangers once. … We build invisible bridges.”
From the Oh! My Cod manifestoIn 2024 Turismo de Portugal gave Oh! My Cod the National Tourism Award for Best Gastronomic Project.
Everything in this shop started at a table with strangers around it. Take a taste of Alentejo home — or go and sit at the table it came from.
